Why TAD?
Technology
Unlike conventional tissue dried by pressing against hot cylinders, TAD uses heated air blown through the fiber web — preserving a lofty 3D structure that delivers unmatched absorbency and softness.
Pulp slurry is evenly distributed onto the forming wire to create a uniform fiber web.
Mechanical dewatering removes bulk water via vacuum and press elements before thermal drying.
Hot air (150–300°C) penetrates through the fiber web on a permeable belt, drying fibers without crushing — creating the signature 3D bulk structure.
Light calendering controls surface smoothness and thickness while preserving the TAD bulk and texture.
The finished TAD tissue is wound into large-diameter parent reels, ready for converting or direct shipment.
